How to apply
RSCO’s user-friendly online application platform makes it easy and convenient for families to manage applications for all their children.
Create your account
Create a RSCO account or log in to your existing account if you are a returning applicant.
- You may create only one RSCO account. Duplicate RSCO accounts and applications will be deleted.
Create/update profile(s)
- Create or update your Guardian Profile.
- Create or update Student Profiles for all children in your household.
Apply to your top choices
- Select schools and programs that fit your child’s interests and skills and rank them in order of preference.
- Remember, you are NOT required to submit applications for all available programs.
- Apply only to programs and schools you would accept if you received an offer.
Stay up to date
Keep your information updated so that you receive time-sensitive communications.
Be sure to use the same account every year to submit applications
The placement process gives priority to applicants who have applied for multiple years without an offer. Using the same account is essential to being identified for this priority.
Having trouble getting into your account?
Contact the Parent Resource Center by telephone at 860-713-6990 or by email at RSCO.SDE@ct.gov to reset your password or update your email and phone number.

Choice order counts. Most placement priorities apply only to your first-choice selection.
